Music Video Release!
When I was just a little girl my family told me so many things that would help shape me into the person I am today. One of those things was the idea that “It’s lonely at the top.”
In my mind that didn’t mean they didn’t want me to reach for the top. In my mind it meant that I needed to take others to the top with me. That lesson has never left me and I try to live by it in everthing I do – especially in my teaching. That’s why whenever I have the chance to help a student go to the next level, I do my very best to help them get there.
That’s what happened with my student Mary Rene Quarles. She is the singer featured in the video above. Last spring I started a project called Fun Sized Concerts in which each student would be able to sing songs written by me just for them and perform them LIVE on Facebook. While I was writing Monday Is Coming for Mary Rene’s concert, she had some pretty good ideas for some of the lyrics. That’s how she came to be one of the co-writers of the song!
From then until now she has released her first single at only 13years old and today is releasing her first music video! I am so happy to be able to be on this journey with her. And just in case you’re wondering – yes, you will be seeing more from me and some of my other students as well! This is only the beginning.

In Our Lifetime Teen Soap Creators to Attend Monday Is Coming Skate Party!
Have you heard about the new teen soap opera In Our Lifetime? The pilot episode is available to watch FREE on youtube and is getting rave reviews from media outlets and fans. The show features several Atlanta teen actors, and I am excited to announce that the show creator is scheduled to attend the Skate Party and Video Shoot for my vocal student Mary Rene Quarles’ cover of Monday Is Coming!
The party is Saturday June 10th from 6:30pm-10:30pm at Skate Along USA 744 Beaver Ruin Rd, Lilburn, GA and is only $10/person. The party is a fundraiser to raise money for more youth music projects.

Big Dreams 2016 Tix Released!
Most shows are made of students who AUDITIONED for the show, so you can safely EXPECT that the show will be of a certain quality because only the ones with the most talent demonstrated beforehand were even allowed an opportunity to get on the stage.
The Big Dreams Concert is different. NOBODY in this show auditioned to be in it. Many have never even been on a stage before, but you will be absolutely amazed at how talented and entertaining these kids and teens are!
When you experience the Big Dreams Concert you will be witnessing what can be done with young people who are given a chance to learn and grow in the arts- without having been pre-screened for innate talent.
