Hey just wanted to give a quick update about something really cool that happened recently – TailStix, a major resource for the Atlanta Film Community just did a story on Dana Rice Music as part of their Working Musician series! Much gratitude to the founder and editor Joe Swift for including me.
Here’s an old Christmas favorite. It doesn’t have the usual storyline of Santa Clause, reindeer and snowmen but it goes straight to the true meaning of Christmas. I always liked this song as a kid and even now. Maybe it’s the thought that a poor baby could change the whole world in spite of being born in a stable and having a manger for a crib. There’s so much hope in this little song. Hope for the times in life when you feel insignificant- it’s right here in this song with the greatest baby that was ever born surrounded by animals instead of kings and queens. Sing this song with me and know that even though right now you may not be at the place you desire to be it doesn’t mean that you don’t have a gift or that you’re insignificant.
